As Squarespace employees, we’re encouraged to explore creative ideas and build real projects in order to better understand what it’s like to be a customer.

This is one of my projects.

This is a small, on-demand operation. Every case is printed and shipped directly from our production partner — no warehouses, no excess stock, just made when you order. It costs about $20 to make and ship a case to you. We sell them for $25, and all proceeds go directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Like a good recipe, this process will continue getting refined. Over time, I hope that means lower costs for you and even more to give back.

This project is close to my heart, but it’s also part of something bigger. I believe these kinds of projects can go beyond one person, one product, or even one company. The idea is simple: use the tools we have to make something sustainable that helps others — and make it last.

Because in the end, it’s not about the product.
It’s about turning creativity into a force for good.
